Heidelberg Athletics Hall of Fame
Ron Linhart earned seven varsity letters as a member of the Heidelberg baseball and basketball squads during his career atop College Hill.
Linhart was a four-year starter on the baseball team as a shortstop. He earned All-OAC honors his senior season, leading the conference in hitting and stolen bases. He was captain of the club as a junior and senior. On the hardwood of Seiberling, he was a three-year letter-winner and a two-year starter. During his junior season, he set a Heidelberg record by making 38 consecutive free throws.
Linhart currently resides in Brighton, Michigan, where he works as a manufacturing representative in the sporting goods industry.
He has been married to Sheila Crawford ('80) for the past 19 years and they couple have three children: Kate, 15, Ryan, 13, and Kelley, 10.
