Before graduating in 1984, Anthony Munafo Jr. earned a total of seven varsity letters in wrestling and football.
Three letters came in football where he played both offense and defense. His first two seasons he was a wide receiver before being switched to defensive back his junior year. He started at strong safety and weak side corner.
During his senior season he held down the weak side corner the entire campaign. The Huron High School graduate and standout athlete moved to the wrestling mat at Heidelberg College each season from football and continued his athletic success.
