The Name of Kenneth "Lefty" Mast is written into the athletic annals of two colleges.

A four-year letter winner in basketball and golf at Heidelberg, Mast teams won a total of 18 conference championship: seven in football, nine in track, and two in basketball.

Currently a PGA golf pro at the Seven River, Fla., Mast won first team All-Ohio basketball honors as a senior.

He was honored in 1975 with his election to the Bluffton College Hall of Fame.

Mast known at Heidelberg as the "Sugar Creek Flash", had the uncanny ability to hit the open man in basketball. He was at his best when the pressure was on.

An outstanding golfer, Mast won the Mohawk Country Club and the Association of Lefthanded Golfer trophies in 1949.
