Greg Lehrer earned his way into the Hall of Fame after a spectacular career for Heidelberg as a wide receiver.

He was a four-year letter-winner as a member of the football team. Lehrer was a first-team OAC selection in 1992 and 1993. His best seasons came in 1992 when he earned All-America Honorable Mention and in 1993 as a third-team All-American selection.

In four seasons, Lehrer broke five school records that still stand today. He holds the top marks for receptions in a single game (14), season (87) and career (176) along with most
receiving yards in a single season (1,202) and career (2,586).

Lehrer was team captain as a senior in 1993 when the Student Princes finished 8-2, their best season since 1972. He considers the team feat his proudest accomplishment.

After graduating from Heidelberg, Lehrer started a landscaping company while earning his real estate and insurance licenses. In 1998 he opened the G. Lehrer Insurance Agency. He later sold the agency to become a partner in a larger agency selling auto, home, business, health and life insurance. Lehrer also owns six residential rental properties and he is 50 percent owner of a six-unit medical building in Canton.

Originally from Munroe Falls, Ohio, Lehrer attended Stow/Munroe Falls High School, where he played four years of football and baseball before graduating in 1990.

Lehrer is married to Tiffin native Nicole (Margraf) Lehrer.  They reside in Silver Lake, Ohio, with their two-year old son, Carson.
