A 1950 graduate of Heidelberg College, Paul "Mike" Miletti still can be found on the record page of the Heidelberg football program.

His senior year he established a new mark when he scored four rushing touchdowns against Capital University. There have been others who have matched that performance in the past 46 years, but no one has surpassed it.

Miletti was also a member of the unbeaten 1948 team and scored 10 rushing touchdowns. That season he rushed for 679 yards, an average of 7.56 yards per carry. And he also went to the air to pass for 96 more yards for a total offense of 775 yards. That season he was named honorable mention All-Ohio by Associated Press, honorable mention INS All-Ohio and was honored by Capital University as a member of its All-Opponent first team.

Following graduation he began an outstanding teaching and coaching career and served at Tiffin Calvert High School 34 years before his retirement in 1989. At Calvert he was the head football coach for 10 years and compiled a 55-29-6 record in leading the Senecas to a Sandusky Bay Conference championship in 1959, 1961 and 1965. During that championship run, he coached the school's only unbeaten teams in 1961 and 1965.

His talents were also apparent in wrestling as he coached at Calvert for 13 years which included the best record in school history for a a single season in 1968-69 at 8-2. One of Miletti's major milestones as a coach came in golf in 1982 when he led the team to the sectional title, a district runner-up finish and a fifth place performance in the state. In 13 years, his golf teams were 153-55.

In 1983 he received the "Certificate of Appreciation" from The Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Calvert Field House was named "Paul Miletti Field House."

He was inducted into the Calvert High School "Hall of Fame" in 1993 and presented an award in 1994 for outstanding contributions resulting in the promotion of Ohio High School Football by the Northwest Ohio Football Coaches Association.

Miletti and his wife, Georgienne, still reside in Tiffin. They have four grown children,

Kathy, Nancy, Barbara, and Paula. They also have 10 grandchildren.
