WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Women's Golf team competed at the two-day OAC Fall Preview over the weekend, and finished second overall. The women had a strong showing against the other conference teams at their fourth match of the season.

Brooke Barnes finished third in the field of 37 golfers. Barnes carded a 77-81--156, finishing at 14-over par for the two round tournament. 

Senior Claire Recker followed closely behind, earning tenth with an 82-81--163 performance. 

Lexie Honigford took third for Berg, carding a 91-86--177. 

Rounding out the team were Cate Reinhart with a 95-89--184, and Adisyn Kramer with a 106-103--209. 

The B Team was led by a strong performance by the duo of Anzaya Estep, who shot 97-98--196, and Kylie Hostettler, also finishing with a 98-97--196. Elizabeth Jackson shot 104-102--206, Paige Kearns carded a 111-101--212, and Cheyenne Deaton added a 112-101--213. 

Otterbein pulled away for the win, led by medalist Aimee Hayes. 

The women will compete at the John Carroll Invitational on Oct. 3rd at Manakiki Golf Course.
