WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- In the first year of the revamped structure, three Heidelberg University Women's Golf team members were named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams on Friday. Rather than relying solely on placement at the conference tournament, the all-conference honorees were voted on by the league's coaches.
OAC Champion
Lydia Dietz was a first team selection. In addition to winning the OAC title by five strokes, Dietz was the winner of two other events this season. She had a career-best season average of 80.3.
Brooke Barnes, a winner of five events, was a second team honoree. Barnes, who set the program's one-day record with a 73, averaged an 80.8 this year.
Senior
Danielle Powell capped her career with an honorable mention. She finished the year with a scoring average of 87.5.
