FOSTORIA, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Women's Golf team hosted their annual fall invitational at Fostoria Country Club. Led by Brooke Barnes, Heidelberg took fifth overall.

Barnes was sixth overall, carding a 75-80--155. She picked up three birdies on the weekend. 

Reigning OAC Golfer of the Week Claire Recker was 18th, shooting a 79-82--162.  Lexie Honigford was one shot back, bringing in a 79-84--163.  

Cate Reinhart shot a 100-86--186 and Kylie Hostettler had a 91-102--193.  

The B Team was led by Anzaya Estep's 92-96--188. Paige Kearns had a 101-90--191. Elizabeth Jackson carded a 105-87--192 and Cheyenne Deaton shot a 101-95--196.  

Ohio Northern won, bolstered by medalist Addison Williams.  

Heidelberg returns to play on Sept. 26 at the OAC Fall Preview at River Greens.  


The men's team was rained out on Saturday at Mount Union. The tournament will be a one-day event on Sunday.
