WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Women's Golf team continued its strong fall slate with it's first-ever two-day tournament victory, winning the OAC Fall Preview. With five schools present, the Student Princes shot a 319-325--644 to win by four strokes over runner-up Otterbein.
Leading the charge for The Berg were
Lydia Dietz (76-78--154) and
Brooke Barnes (78-76--154). The pair shared medalist honors, winning by two strokes over Otterbein's Alayna Meyer.
Dietz picked up a pair of birdies on both days while Barnes had three on Sunday.
In support of Dietz and Barnes,
Danielle Powell placed seventh with an 84-83--167.
Lexie Honigford had a top 10 finish, tying for ninth with an 81-88--169.
Elizabeth Jackson shot an 87-91--178, placing 18th.
The B Team shot a 382-373--755.
Heidelberg will battle cross-town rival Tiffin in Match Play on Wednesday.
