Box Score Bexley, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team fell to Capital University on Wednesday night, 28-2.
After a draining first quarter,
Rayce Septer found his eighth career goal near the end of the period. At the half, the hosts held a 16-1 advantage.
The Comets would hold off Heidelberg until the fourth, when
Jacob Morgan laid in his third career goal with 5:23 left in the quarter.
In goal,
Wilson Runnette took charge of the first half, with eight saves.
George Pecar finished out the second half with six saves.
Jaydon Septer led The Berg in groundballs, scooping up five. He also tallied ten face off wins and his younger brother, Rayce, marked four.
The Heidelberg men's lacrosse team will be back in Tiffin on Saturday as they host Wilmington. Senior Day festivities will take place before the game, which is slated for 1 p.m.
