Box Score BEREA, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University women's soccer team was unable to hold an early lead, falling on the road, 2-1, at Baldwin Wallace University.  Heidelberg slipped to 0-2-2 on the season. 

Less than five minutes into the match, Bekah Thomas crossed the ball into the penalty area from the right side.  Audrey Kaufman volleyed the shot on net, but BW goalkeeper Maddie Hofmann knocked it down.  Makenzie Damsa corralled the rebound and tucked in with a right foot.  

The Yellow Jackets (2-2) found the equalizer in the 18th minute on a finish by Taylor Tomlinson.  Teams remained tied at halftime.  

Kaufman nearly put Heidelberg back on top in the 66th minute, but was deemed to be offside before she cleaned up a loose ball in the penalty area.  

Moments later, BW did take the lead off a corner kick.  Anna Wolfinger sent the ball into the penalty area onto the foot of Bella Reigle.  Reigle found the back of the net in the 69th minute.  

Meredith Bruce made four saves on the night.  

Heidelberg returns to action at home on Sunday.  Otterbein visits Hoernemann Stadium for a match slated for a 2 p.m. start.
