Davis added a second just three minutes later on a feed from Caroline Fleming. Fleming then contributed the third just four minutes after Davis's second strike.Â
Just before the half, Molly Safreed and Sara Lee netted strikes that were both assisted by Raquel Church.
The Student Princes finally got some consolation in the 64th minute as
Madison Zimmerman scored her fourth career goal on a nicely stuck shot. Heidelberg nearly got a second back as
Sophia Jackson forced a save from reserve goalkeeper Ayverie Giller just two minutes later.Â
Looking to salvage something from the match,
Lexi Langwasser and
Audrey Kaufman each found the frame with shot attempts, by Giller stopped both shots, keeping any shot at a comeback off the table.Â
Adrian did seal off the game with a goal from Makenna Mascaro in the 81st minute.Â
In goal, Bruce was credited with a new career-best eight saves. Giller stopped four second half shot attempts.Â
