TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University men's tennis team dropped a conference match to Baldwin Wallace University on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets emerged with an 8-1 victory.
The lone win for the Student Princes came at first singles. Ben Moore beat Dominic Polifrone in the first set, 6-4, before dropping the second set, 6-2. In the tiebreaker, Moore earned a 10-7 win to pick up the victory.
The Yellow Jackets took all three doubles matches, though the Student Princes came close at second doubles. Moore and Dan Driscoll fell to Nathan Katz and Jake Liebler, 8-6.
Heidelberg fell to 3-10 overall, 2-3 in the OAC.
They return to the courts at John Carroll University on Tuesday. The match is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start.
