ADRIAN, Michigan -- The Heidelberg University men's tennis team dropped their second match of the season, this time via a 9-0 loss at the hands of Adrian College.
Heidelberg (0-2) saw good play from
Porus Shroff and
Tate Schoen in singles, but could not muster much against the Bulldogs (2-1).
At first singles, Shroff was upended 3-6, 2-6 against Kyle Haines. Schoen fell at second singles 2-6, 2-6. At third singles,
Noah Bowman was able to take a game, but fell 1-6, 0-6. Four, five and six singles all saw
Kyle Obrenski,
Jared Buchholz and
Jordan Robbins fall 0-6, 0-6.
At first doubles, Schoen and Robbins fell 0-8. The second doubles pairing of Shroff and Kennard fought hard, but could only muster a 2-8 loss. Third doubles was rounded out as Buchholz and Bowman fell 0-8.
The Student Princes currently do not have any other fall matches scheduled and will look to return to the court in late March for their spring slate.
