TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University men's tennis team is still in search of its first home win of the season after falling to Capital University, 8-1, on Monday. The loss snapped a two-match win streak for the Student Princes.
Heidelberg fell to 3-9 overall, 2-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Crusaders improved to 4-13, 1-2.
After dropping all of the doubles matches, the lone victory of the day came at fifth singles. Tate Schoen upended Hunter Walter -- 6-4, 6-3.
Dan Driscoll won a set at third singles, but lost in the decisive third set.
The men's team returns to the courts on campus with a home match against Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday. Play is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
