Capital surges past men's tennis

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's tennis team lost to Capital University in an OAC match on Wednesday.  The Crusaders took all nine matches in the victory. 

The match of the day occured at first singles.  Heidelberg's Zach Schwenning lost the first set to Capital's Luke Buchanan, but stormed back to send the match into a tiebreaker.  Buchanan edged Schwenning 10-8. 

At fifth singles, Matt McDivitt dropped the first set 7-5 before falling 6-1 in the second. 

In doubles play, the twos, Dorian Kempf and Tyler Flickinger, won four sets but lost to Spencer Walter and Kenny Duncan. 

The loss dropped the Student Princes to 6-6, 1-3 OAC.
