MASON, Ohio – The Heidelberg University men's tennis suffered an 8-1 loss at the hands of the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets.
The loss moves the Heidelberg men to 7-7 overall and 2-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Senior Matt McDivitt led the Berg men by claiming the lone victory of the day. The Cortland native rallied in the second and third set tiebreaker after dropping the first set, 2-6. McDivitt swung his way to a 6-1 win in the second set before stealing away the third set tiebreaker.
Upon returning home from their weekend affair in Mason, the Heidelberg men will host John Carroll University on Tuesday, April 15. Action is set to begin at 1 p.m. from the Heidelberg University Tennis Courts.
