Heidelberg University, in partnership with 'Berg Athletics, has finished naming and launching its new beverage collaboration with Findlay Brewery. After a campus-wide tasting and naming contest, the Heidelberg community voted online to select "Berg Brew" as the new title. 

The beer is now available on draft around Tiffin at several locations including The Berg Bistro 1850, Clover Club, The Empire and Madison Street Tavern. A portion of every sale goes back to the institution, helping continue to bring exciting innovations like this to fruition.

A Witbier, made with a mix of pilsen malt, flaked wheat and flaked oats, has a smooth, easy-drinking body. The Cluster hops add a little spicy kick, while coriander and orange peel in the boil round out the profile. 

The name submission came from Max Schneckenburger of Cuyahoga Falls. He is a junior on the men's golf team and an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
