WESTERVILLE -- After a sizzling hot Florida trip, Junior Ellie Tressler has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week. This is Tressler's first time receiving this honor. 

On Monday, the Heidelberg catcher went 2-4 with five RBIs, including a towering three run blast to straightaway center field in Heidelberg's 9-0 win over Chatham in game one of their doubleheader. Tressler continued her offensive prowess in game two, where she went 3-5 and drove home two more runs. 

She obliterated two more home runs in her four RBI performance in Tuesday's win over Pitt.-Greensburg. 

Tressler finished her Florida run with nine hits (seven XBH), three home runs, and 13 RBI.

The Pickerington, Ohio native currently leads the OAC in home runs and runs batted in. 

The Student Princes are scheduled to play their home opener on Friday as part of a double header versus Albion College. The first pitch is slated for 1 pm.
