Swim team updates

TIFFIN -- It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Heidelberg Swim team. 

Last Saturday, Nov. 1, the Women's side had a successful meet against Manchester. HU made a splash with a 182-42 win. However, the Men fell to the Spartans 156-72. 

Addison Fortney had a phenomenal performance with three first place finishes in the 50 free, 100 free, 11 back, and contributed to a second-place finish in the 200 free relay. 

On the men's side, Andrey Pilipchuk was a top performer for HU, placing first in the 100 free, 100 breast, and 100 fly. He also contributed to the men's 200 free relay placing second. 

On Friday, Nov. 7, both teams fell to JCU on the road. 

Elli Mayer was a top performer placing first in the 50 free and second in the 50 fly and 200 free relay. 

Andrey Pilipchuk earned some points for The Berg placing third in the 200 free relay and 50 fly. 

The Swim team continues on Saturday, Nov. 8 against the College of Wooster. Both teams unfortunately fell short once again. 

The women's top performer was Fortney, who placed first in the 50 free, and second in the 100 free, 200 medley relay, and 200 free relay. 

For the men's, Pilipchuk proves to be a top performer taking first place in the 100 free, second in the 50 free, and third place in the 100 fly

The Student Princes hit the water Saturday, Nov. 22 at Ohio Wesleyan for the Corbiere-Merion Invitational.
