Box Score BEREA – Facing their toughest challenge of the season, the Heidelberg University Women's Basketball team fell to No. 14 Baldwin Wallace on the road, 85-41.

With the loss, the Student Princes drop to 1-11 (0-5 OAC), while the Yellow Jackets improve to 11-1 (5-0 OAC).

Heidelberg started strong, jumping out to a 10-4 lead against the nationally-ranked Yellow Jackets. However, Baldwin Wallace took control from there, dominating the remainder of the half while limiting the Berg to just 14 points.

Morgan Altenburger and Chloe Gilbert led Heidelberg with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Altenburger also paced the team with seven rebounds. Hannah Hunt was a perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc.

Up next, Heidelberg travels to Alliance, Ohio, to take on Mount Union on Saturday, Jan. 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
