TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Football team had a disappointing evening in Hoernemann Stadium, with self-inflicted miscues in all phases resulting in a 52-27 loss to Ohio Northern. After trading possessions, the Student Princes lit up the scoreboard again, this time thanks to a 15-yard Shae Sparks catch-and-score delivered by Alex Arledge just after the two-minute warning in the first half. Northern responded with a score of their own with just :14 seconds to go before the break, retaking a 10-point lead.Â
Ohio Northern came out swinging in the second half, adding another touchdown to their lead, the only scoring of the quarter.
