WESTERVILLE -- For the first time in her career, Heidelberg University Women's Golfer
Lydia Dietz was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week. The weekly honor was given to Dietz after her sixth-place finish in the Beaver Fall Classic hosted by Bluffton over the weekend.
Dietz carded an 82-80--162 at Bluffton Golf Course, picking up two birdies. Playing as Heidelberg's No. 1 golfer, Dietz has an 80.3 average in her sophomore season.
The Botkins, Ohio, native is the program's first OAC Player of the Week honoree since Kerianne Murphy received the accolade during the 2015-16 season.
The Student Princes wrap up the fall slate with the Capital Invitation hosted at Lancaster Golf Club.
