Box Score BEREA – The Heidelberg University Women's Basketball team was upended on the road, falling to No. 24 Baldwin Wallace, 89-49.
Heidelberg was led by an 11-point effort from
Amari Slaughter.
The Yellow Jackets held a 20-9 lead after the first quarter and enjoyed a 45-18 advantage at halftime.
BW continued to find success at both ends of the court in the third quarter, outscoring the Student Princes, 26-10.
Heidelberg's best quarter came in the fourth. The Student Princes were able to stay even with the hosts -- matching BW's 18 points.
The men's and women's teams will head to Marietta on Saturday for an OAC doubleheader. The women will play first, with a 1 p.m. tipoff.
