GAME ONE: OTT 4-8-3 BERG 2-6-1
Meghan Bame led off the game with a single and advanced on a Cardinal miscue. Later in the inning, Tressler hit a single to left that plated Bame with the game's first run.
The Cardinals did their damage in the first and third, scoring a pair in both frames.
Down 4-1 in the fourth, Heidelberg inched closer. Stallbaum singled and moved to second on an error in right before scoring on a double by Tressler.
The Student Princes got the tying runs aboard in the seventh, but left them stranded.
Jessica Voitko (8-8) took the loss, allowing four runs (three earned) in 4.1 innings of work.
GAME TWO: OTT 6-7-3 BERG 2-5-2
The hosts scored three in the second, one in the third, and two in the fifth, taking a 6-0 lead into the sixth. There, Heidelberg loaded the bases with no outs, but only managed to score one.
Halie Monhollen drove in Tressler with a sacrifice fly.
Stallbaum singled in Blasinsky in the seventh, but the rally was not enough to overcome the deficit.

Payton Scheid, who threw 1.2 innings of relief in game one, added 1.1 innings in game two.
Hailey Schink -- a five-star golf cart passenger -- went the final 1.2 innings.
