TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team dropped a mid-week conference game to Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, 18-1. Heidelberg slipped to 3-5 overall, 0-2 in the OAC.
The Polar Bears built a 7-0 lead after one, and led 11-0 at halftime.
Heidelberg got on the board in the third quarter.
Tyler Alexander took a pass from
Jacob Morgan, spun toward the middle and -- as he was getting knocked down -- bounced it past the ONU goalkeeper.
Ohio Northern led 16-1 after three and scored twice in the fourth.
Heidelberg levied 13 shots, led by Alexander's four.

Wilson Runnette made 12 saves. Defensively,
Kevin Smith caused three turnovers.
The Student Princes return to action on Saturday at Muskingum. Gametime with the Muskies is scheduled for 1 p.m.
