The Heidelberg University men's and women's lacrosse teams both fell to John Carroll on Wednesday evening. In Tiffin, the men lost 29-1 while the women lost 22-1 in University Heights.
The lone goal for the women's side came with 3:36 left play.
Sydney Shaffer controlled the draw and would eventually feed
Kelly Spence for the goal.
Brianna Lloyd had a team-high four shots.
Ella Lane made eight saves.
Alex Bruder had the only goal for the men, coming with 2:36 remaining.
Jason Mills paced the offense with five shots.
George Pecar made five saves in goal.
Both teams take on Mount Union on Saturday. The men travel to Alliance for a game now scheduled for 1 p.m. The women host Mount Union at 4 p.m.
