BEREA, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team suffered a 27-2 setback in their first OAC road contest of the season. Heidelberg dropped to 1-1 in conference action.
Alex Bruder and
Jacob Brickman picked up the goals for Heidelberg.
Nolan Hatten registered the assist on Bruder's goal while
Jacob Morgan tallied the assist on the Brickman goal.
Cian Howery made 24 saves in the loss, tying his own team record. Baldwin Wallace sent a total of 74 shots toward the net.
Morgan scooped up eight ground balls in the game, leading the Student Princes.
Heidelberg hosts Otterbein on Saturday. Gametime is slated for 7 p.m. to accommodate the Tiffelberg Open track meet at H's Track and Hoernemann Stadium.
