Berg continues season at BW

BEREA, Ohio -- With the conference championship meet in the books, a select few members of the Heidelberg University track and field team headed to Baldwin Wallace University for the Harrison Dillard Twilight meet. The Student Princes head to Berea with aspirations of qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet later in the month. 

Three Heidelberg athletes competed at Baldwin Wallace. 

David Drushal finished second in the men's 5000 meter run, scoring a time of 14:52.47. He finished 1.2 seconds  behind the winner and had a two-second gap to third place. 

Dan Stoll qualified for the final of the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 11.06, the third fastest time of prelims. He did not start the final. Stoll also competed in the 200 meter dash where he finished in second place with a time of 21.81 seconds. 

James Ervin III joined Stoll in the sprinting events. Ervin finished seventh in the 200, clocking in at 23.08 seconds. He also finished in 12th place in the 100 after posting a time of 11.46 seconds.
