GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Dan Stoll has etched his name into the Heidelberg University record books. The senior broke the school record en route to qualifying for the finals of the 400 meter dash at the NCAA Division III Championships.
Stoll recorded a time of 47.71 and finished in seventh place in the prelims, breaking the previous school record of 47.99 set by Bill Cooper in 1996.
Stoll will compete in the 400 meter dash finals tomorrow at 1:20 p.m.
The Ohio Athletic Conference will be well represented in the final as Stoll is joined by Jared Storm and Matt McBride of Mount Union in the final.
