BEREA -- The front-loaded schedule continued to do no favors for the Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team, which lost to undefeated Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets tallied the first 19 goals of the match and won 32-4.
Baldwin Wallace moved to 4-0 on the season while Heidelberg stayed winless at 0-4.
Alex Bruder put Heidelberg on the board with a man-up goal in the third quarter.
The Student Princes scored three times in the final period, starting with a goal by
Liam Weaver two minutes in.
Later,
Chris Storrs scored his first goal of the year, taking a pass from
Michael Stiemly.
Stiemly tallied his first collegiate goal with just over four minutes left to play. The goal came off a pass from
Jacob Brickman.
The Yellow Jackets sent 61 shots toward the goal in the win, 52 of which tested freshman
Cian Howery. Howery made nine stops.
Heidelberg hosts Capital University on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
