TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Women's Soccer team fell to Albion College 2-0 on Saturday evening, breaking their win streak. The women now stand at 3-5 on the season.
Albion took the lead after 32 minutes of containment. A penalty kick that deflected off the top crossbar returned back into play to be tapped in by the original shooter. Heidelberg managed to hold off any additional attacks.Â
In the 73rd minute, the Britons found the back of the net once again off of a box-packed corner kick. Despite Springer's initial deflections, the Britons went up 2-0.
The Britons outpaced the Student Princes in the attacking third. In the first half, Albion outshot Heidelberg 15-6. Berg came back in the second half to match Albion with shots on goal, both teams tallying three.Â

The women are on the road at Case Western Reserve University on Tuesday, September 29th. The Student Princes will kick off against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m.
