TIFFIN, Ohio -- Same story, different game.
The Heidelberg Volleyball team earned their 11th straight sweep of the season, and their first conference victory against Wilmington College. The numbers just keep piling up – the Student Princes have gone 34 straight sets without dropping one.
Cinching victory in three sets, 25-13, 25-12, 25-17, the Student Princes now move to 15-3 on the season, and 1-0 in OAC play.
Emily Miller led The 'Berg on each side of the game. Miller led the attack with eight kills, hitting .615. Defensively, she also led the team in digs with 14.
Sophia Simon also added eight kills on the night.
Soraya Jackson tallied six.
The setter duo of
Maddie Reed and
Olivia Miller combined for 30 assists over the three sets.
Defensively,
Soraya Jackson and
Maya Beck protected the net, racking up 1.5 blocks each.
Sophia Simon and
Riley Tople chipped in one a piece.
On the back line,
Ava Devereaux tallied seven digs, and
Reagan Davis six.
The women travel to Bexley on Wednesday, Oct. 7 for a conference matchup against Capital University. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
