TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University track and field teams saw success across sprints, distance, and field events Friday evening at Ohio Northern University. The men's team finished fourth with 69 points and the women's team placed fifth with 51 points.
SPRINTS & HURDLES
Brianna Braatz earned a first place finish in the 200m dash, with an impressive time of 26.16.
Travis Bolden Jr. also placed first in the 200m dash, with a time of 23.09
Adam Scott took seventh in the 400m with a time of 52.65. .
Emily Valencia took second place in the 400m with a time of 1:05.26 and
Kylie Cope followed behind in third with a time of 1:05.90.
DISTANCE
1000m -
Addison Horner placed fourth in the 1000m with a time of 3:23.39. Rashel Mohr followed in 7th (3:46.27) and
Ana Henderson placed 9th (3:48.57).
Freshman
Dean Morrison finished eighth in the mile at 4:37.78.
Vanessa Shanaman took third place in the 3000m with a time of 10:55.78.
Tyler Huff placed 7th in the men's 3000m with a time of 9:04.94 and
Braden Cinato took 8th with a time of 9:08.51
FIELD EVENTS — THROWS
Ethan Reiman placed second in weight throw with an impressive throw reaching 12.54m.
Amelia Lewin placed fourth in shotput throwing 11.74m.
FIELD EVENTS — JUMPS
Travis Bolden Jr. took fifth place in the long jump with a jump of 6.42m.
Jesse Vanlerberg placed fourth in the triple jump, jumping 11.95m.
Cornell Test finish third in pole vault, clearing 4.27m
RELAYS
In the 4x400 relay, the women finished in third with a time of 4:59.11 (Westrick, Hall, Mohr, Henderson)
The men's 4x400 team finished in sixth, with a time of 3:33.56 (Schweickert, Henderson, Fay, Morrison)
