Baseball sees four earn All-OAC honors

WESTERVILLE -- The Heidelberg University Baseball team had four players receive all-conference honors as announced by the Ohio Athletic Conference on Monday. Braedy Limke, Dylan Matusak and Sam Schneider all earned second team honors, while Andrew Pokley picked up an honorable mention.

Junior third baseman Braedy Limke picked up his second All-OAC selection, earning second team honors after batting .280, and 22 RBI. He collected 40 hits, 26 runs and 3 home runs during the 2025 campaign.

Dylan Matusak, the graduate pitcher, earned second team honors, his first All-OAC selection. With 12 appearances on the year, Matusak allowed just 29 earned runs over 65.0 innings, while limiting opposing batters to a .244 batting average. He led the Heidelberg pitching staff with a 4.02 ERA, and collected 60 strikeouts.

The freshman shortstop, Sam Schneider snagged his first all-conference honors, landing on the All-OAC second team. Hitting .352 with 23 RBI, Schneider picked up nine doubles and 44 hits in his first season for the Tricolor. 

Second baseman Andrew Pokley earned an All-OAC honorable mention, his first time earning all conference honors. Appearing in 33 games for the Berg, Pokley slashed .320/.381/.520. He collected 40 hits, eight doubles, four triples and three home runs with 23 RBI.

The Student Princes have had at least four all-conference honorees in each of the past 25 seasons, dating back to 2000.
