WILMINGTON, Ohio -- The 2024-25 season for the Heidelberg University Women's Basketball team came to an end with an 86-49 loss at Wilmington College on Saturday. After a close first quarter, the balanced Quakers offense surged.
Morgan Altenburger tallied 25 points in the loss, capping her career with 775 points for the Student Princes. She finished with 566 career rebounds and sits 14th on the Heidelberg career list.
Ashley Ballard had a team-best seven rebounds on Saturday, ending her career six shy of 500.
Wilmington held a 22-19 edge after one, but outscored HU in the middle quarters 51-18.
The game also capped the careers of
Chloe Gilbert and
Emma Keto.
The rebuilding Student Princes finished the season with a 3-22 (2-16 OAC) record under first-year Head Coach
Erin Eaton.
