ALBION, Mich. – The Heidelberg University Women's basketball team lost their season opener at Albion College, 98 to 32.

Mya Jones led the way for the Student Princes, scoring eight points and five rebounds in the loss. Tori See, Olivia Nolting and Jones added three steals, while Nolting tacked on two assists.

Albion got out to a fast start, scoring 23 in the first quarter.

Heidelberg held strong in the second quarter, with Jones scoring five of HU's 16 points in the frame. 

The Britons pulled away in the second half, scoring 30 points in the third to take total control.

Heidelberg returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Kenyon College. That game is slated for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
