WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Heidelberg University football player Drew Miller its OAC Athlete of the Week, the first such honor of his season.

Miller posted a career-high 258 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Heidelberg's 34-31 victory over Wilmington on Saturday. He set the tone on the Student Princes' opening drive, accounting for all 75 yards—including a 3-yard touchdown run—to put Heidelberg on the board first.

One could argue that his biggest moment of the day came without a score. With Heidelberg up 34-31 and just 1:55 remaining, Miller ran for 12, seven, and 12 yards on three consecutive carries to pick up first downs and seal the win on Senior Day.

.Heidelberg closes out the regular season at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. in Berea.
