BEXLEY – The Heidelberg University Women's Basketball team dropped a game against Capital, 74-59. With the loss, The Berg fell to 3-15, 2-9 in the OAC, while Capital moved to 15-3, 9-2 in OAC play.  

Morgan Altenburger led Heidelberg with 16 points and 10 rebounds, clocking her third double-double of the season. Chloe Gilbert added 11 points and led the team in steals with three. Altenburger, Emma Keto and Hannah Hunt combined for a perfect 8-8 from the charity stripe.

The Berg outrebounded the Comets, 37-36, and scored 21 points off the bench.
 

Heidelberg returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 1, at home against Otterbein. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. tip-off.
