T&F Competes at Sean Brady Alumni Invitational

ANGOLA, IN -- The Heidelberg University Track & Field teams opened up their 2025 slate with a strong performance at the Sean Brady Alumni Invitational, hosted by Trine University. Brianna Braatz picked up a pair of wins for the women, and Jesse Vanlerberg took top honors in the men's triple jump.

Top-five finishers included:

Brianna Braatz ran a 8.13 in the Women's 60M, finishing 1st
Brianna Braatz ran a 26.98 in the Women's 200M, finishing 1st
Jesse Vanlerberg cleared 11.50m in the Men's Triple Jump, finishing 1st
Cam Long ran a 8.86 in the Men's 60M Hurdles, finishing 2nd
Mackenzie Murray cleared 2.90m in the Women's Pole Vault, finishing 2nd
Travis Bolden cleared 6.19m in the Men's Long Jump, finishing 2nd
Lexi Wachtman cleared 5.06m in the Women's Long Jump, finishing 2nd
Jesse Vanlerberg cleared 5.73m in the Men's Long Jump, finishing 3rd
Rebecca Johnson cleared 2.75m in the Women's Pole Vault, finishing 3rd
Amelia Lewin threw 11.40m in the Women's shot put, finishing 3rd
Ella Jacobs cleared 1.45m in the Women's High Jump, finishing in a tie for 3rd
Zach Taylor ran a 9.07 in the Men's 60M Hurdles, finishing 4th
Tyreese Clerveau ran a 54.35 in the Men's 400M, finishing 4th
Lexi Wachtman ran a 28.70 in the Women's 200M, finishing 4th
Josiah Brown threw 13.87m in the Men's shot put, finishing 4th
Cornell Test cleared 3.80m in the Men's Pole Vault, finishing 4th
Travis Bolden ran a 7.16 in the Men's 60M, finishing 5th
Amelia Lewin threw 12.99m in the Women's weight throw, finishing 5th
Cornell Test cleared 5.68m in the Men's Long Jump, finishing 5th
