WILMINGTON -- The Heidelberg University Swim teams participated in a double dual with Anderson and host Wilmington College on Saturday. Despite coming up short in the team scores, the Student Princes had a strong afternoon.  

Elli Mayer was the top performer for the women. She picked up wins in the 50 free and the 100 fly and was third in the 100 back. Maria Sweatt was runner up in the 100 back and Delaney Buxton was second in the 200 free.   

Zach MacDonald and Ian Bain led the men's side. MacDonald was third in the 400 free and 100 fly, while Bain was second in 100 breast and fourth in the 200 free.  

Heidelberg returns to competition on Saturday, playing host to John Carroll. The meet is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
