Having regrouped during the intermission, HU went to work early in the second half. In the 50th minute,
Viviana Palmer took a pass into the center of the box, shielded a defender and laid off a pass for
Syd Hewer. Hewer's one-touch shot ricocheted off a defender's leg and looped into the net.

Mallory Zavatchen drove down the right wing, knifed between defenders and sent the ball into the six. As the goalkeeper charged, Palmer, again, laid a pass off to a wide open teammate. This time, it was
Caitlyn Cross, who calmly deposited the ball into the wide-open goal.
With the Titans desperate for an equalizer, Heidelberg took advantage of a long, errant pass out of the Westminster end. Quickly played ahead on the foot of Hewer, she took two touches to avoid a defender and sent a cross into the box. Fortuitously, the ball found the foot of
Alex Henning, who buried it for an insurance goal.
