McEntyre finishes 15th in nation

MYRTLE BEACH -- The stellar sophomore season for the fastest man in Heidelberg University history came to an end on Friday at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

Entering as the last of 22 qualifiers in the 100 meter dash, Jake McEntyre finished 15th, running a 10.606.

The top eight finishers advanced to Saturday's finals.

McEntyre broke three school records during the school year, including the outdoor 200 meter record which had stood since 1977.
