BEREA -- The Heidelberg Softball team was swept in an OAC twinbill on Thursday, falling to host Baldwin Wallace 7-0 and 9-1.
The Yellow Jackets improved to 16-10 overall and 6-2 in the OAC. Heidelberg dropped to 9-21, 2-8.
GAME ONE: BW 7-13-0 BERG 0-3-4
The Yellow Jackets scored three times in the first and led 4-0 after two. They added one in the fourth and a pair in the sixth inning.
BW starter Marisa Hall limited Heidelberg to three hits in a complete game shutout.
GAME TWO: BW 9-11-0 BERG 1-3-2 (5 innings)
Heidelberg struck first with a run in the top of the first inning.
Aubrey Conklin led off with a double, then
Ellie Tressler and
Gabbie Stallbaum drew walks.
Murissa Drown followed with an RBI single.
BW answered with five runs in the third, then clinched the run-rule victory with a four-spot in the fifth.

The Student Princes will return home on Saturday, hosting Muskingum for an OAC doubleheader.
