TIFFIN, Ohio – The Heidelberg University Baseball team dropped two games in a Tuesday doubleheader against No. 2 Baldwin Wallace University. The Student Princes could not get the bats going in the twinbill, resulting in the 13-1 and 4-3 losses to the Yellow Jackets.

Baldwin Wallace got things started down at Peaceful Valley as they plated four runs in the top of the first inning. They added four more in the second, taking the 8-0 lead.

With bases loaded and no outs, Heidelberg was able to add their first run of the game from a Braedy Limke ground ball in the bottom half of the second, cutting their deficit to 8-1.

The Yellow Jackets scored a run in the third, fourth, and sixth innings to stretch their lead to 11-1 after six innings of play. Baldwin Wallace added another run in the eighth and ninth innings, making the score 13-1.
