The Heidelberg University Track & Field teams participated in the Mid-February Meet at Baldwin Wallace and Tiffin University Open #3 over the weekend.
The highlights:
Jake McEntyre,
Carson Lehrer and
Gabe Harmon all competed in the Men's 55M at Baldwin Wallace on Friday evening. McEntyre came in first with a final time of 6.46. Lehrer finished with a 6.77, good for sixth place. Harmon cracked the top ten with a 6.90 finish
On Saturday, the team went across town to compete in the Tiffin University Open #3.
Women's 1 Mile Run:
Emily Pullano and
Kenzie Fountain finished in the top 3. Pullano tallied a 5:44.60 with Fountain not far behind with a 5:44.67.
Men's 1 Mile Run: HU took the top two spots as
Connor Ladd finished first with a time of 4:26.63 and
Vova Herdman came in second tallying a 4:30.09.
Women's 600M: Fountain finished with a 1:52.20, good for a 4th place finish.
Women's 400M:
Kylie Cope finished 4th with a run of 1:03.11.
Men's 200M: Freshman
Tyreese Clerveau tallied a 23.66, good for 6th place.
Women's 4x400M relay:
Kenzie Fountain,
Kylie Cope,
Emily Pullano and
Hannah Dearth competed, placing 4th overall with a time of 4:31.66.
Men's 4x400M relay:
Jake McEntyre,
Tyreese Clerveau,
Carson Lehrer and
Tyreke Clerveau placed 4th with a final run of 3:37.12.
The team will be back in action next Friday as they participate in the Flag City Tune-Up at the University of Findlay.
