TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Cross Country team hosted and competed in the 2024 OAC Championships at the Hillcrest Country Club in Findlay. The men and women both finished eighth. 

For the men, HU scored 55-67-73-86-93.

Connor Ladd was first across the line for the Student Princes, running a 25:53.1 -- good for 28th overall.  

Trenton Hole wrapped up his day with a time of 26:29.4, good for 52nd in the field of runners. Joe Brewster was next, coming in 63rd with a time of 26:46.2. 

Tyler Huff ran a 27:47.6, placing 105th, and Josh Fiorentino's time of 27:58.2, good for 112th.  

On the women's side, HU scored 38-41-45-52-54. 

Kenzie Fountain paced the Berg, running a 24:27.8 in the 6K race. Emily Pullano was next with a time of 24:49.8, followed by Caitlin Schwartz and her time of 24:59.1.

Maddy McCall was fourth for HU, running a 25:26.8. Kylie Cope was the fifth scorer, clocking a 26:05.9.
