TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Volleyball team rallied in the third set to sweep visiting Capital University, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23. The victory extended The Berg's winning streak to a season-best four matches, pushing their record to 11-8, 2-0.

Heidelberg outplayed the Comets in the opening set, hitting .306 and holding Capital to .103.
In the second set, the 'Berg offense wasn't quite as efficient, hitting a mere .081. However, ratcheting up the defense worked well, and Capital's -.070 attack spelled doom for the visitors.
The Comets took a 17-12 lead midway through the third set, prompting a time out from Heidelberg Head Coach
Jason Miller. The Student Princes took four of the next five points to crawl back into the game. An ace gave Capital a 20-16 lead, but a service error gave the ball back to Heidelberg.
Down 20-17, Miller subbed in
Anneliese Schriber to serve -- a move which worked extremely well. Schriber's strong serves rattled the Comets and the Student Princes took the next five points. Tople closed the win with a kill, sending the Heidelberg fans home happy.
Heidelberg has won 21 straight over Capital -- a stretch that dates back to 2007. Additionally, nine of the last 10 HU wins over the crew from Bexley have been sweeps.
The Student Princes head to Marietta on Saturday. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start in the Ban Johnson Arena.
