ALLIANCE -- The Heidelberg University Football team was defeated by No. 5 Mount Union on Saturday, 52-10.
Down 21-0 in the second,
Trey Farris recovered a fumble in Mount Union territory. Heidelberg cashed in with a 36-yard field goal by
Ethan Ramsdail.
After a promising drive late in the second quarter ended with a fumble, Heidelberg trailed 35-3 at halftime.
Forcing a Mount punt late in the third, Heidelberg embarked on its best drive of the day to start the fourth. Having already converted on two third downs and a fourth down on the drive,
Ithan Cholewa plunged into the end zone from five yards out. It capped a 14-play 73-yard drive.
