SPRINGFIELD  – The Heidelberg University Track & Field teams traveled to Wittenberg for the Steemer Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 27. The men's team was fourth and the women's team took 13th. Before the ink dried in the school record book for the triple jump, Liv Bean topped her own mark with a mark of 10.74m (35-3).  

In addition to Bean's record, Vova Herdman won the 1000. 

Heidelberg returns to competition at Ashland's Jud Logan Light Giver Open on Feb. 2.
